On Sunday, Mets' first baseman Carlos Delgado was robbed of a dinger after umps reversed their original of a home run and deemed the ball to be foul.
The next night, Cubs' catcher Geovany Soto wasn't robbed (he ended up with a inside the park home run), but umps once again missed what was an actual long ball.
And last night, Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez went to the next level hitting a shot off a concrete stairway beyond the outfield fence that should have been labeled HR#525, but was instead A-Rod's 405th double.
With all that said baseball is now considering using instant replay, but are planning on giving it a try first in their Arizona Fall League.
Will instant replay find it's way into baseball like it has in every other major sport, or are baseball purists going to fight to keep baseball in the dark ages?
