Are the NBA Playoffs Being Overshadowed?

So, this is Producer Joey taking over the reigns of this whole "blog" thing and I've been here at the studios of "The Score" for around four hours now and have listened to Steve's show, The Writer's Block and now the first 45 minutes of The Sports Idol.  

Being here for all three shows I've observed something, this Tim Donaghy situation seems to be overshadowing the NBA playoffs.  In all three shows (well I should give Justin some time his show just started) the main topic of conversation has been refereeing in the NBA and not the match-up of game 4 tonight.

Are the playoffs truly taking a back seat to the off the court (or maybe "IN court") happenings of the NBA or is this fixing games talk getting it's 15 minutes and going to be gone tomorrow?
