Laker's Phil Jackson Speaks On Donaghy Issue

Interestlingly enough Phil Jackson who coaches the Los Angles Lakers who are currently in the NBA Finals and down 1-2 against the Boston Celtics has spoke up about the issues regarding Tim Donaghy issues to a reporter at the New York Post.

"A lot of things have happened in the course of the Tim Donaghy disposition," Jackson said. "I think we have to weigh it as it comes out, and we all think that probably referees should be under a separate entity than the NBA entirely. That's what we'd like to see in the NBA. "It would just be separate and apart from it. But I don't think that's going to happen. That's just a want and desire in the area of having everything apart from the NBA."

What is very interesting is that David Stern and the front office of the NBA had implemented a rule where employees of the NBA were not allowed to comment on this issue. Can you say cover-up!
