The Seattle Mariners have finally axed General Manager Bill Bavasi who has ran the Mariners from being one of the most respectful teams in the MLB to the laughing stock in five years. Trading top prospects, signing average free-agents to large contracts, and not hiring a big name manager have all been issues with the team.
Now that Bavasi is gone with the M's how would you fix the mess up in Seattle if you were GM?
I would firesale the entire place and take a few terrible season's but stack up draft picks and youth and build for a few years down the road.
